Conatus is a competitive survival/action-adventure game developed by Pyro Enterprises along with many other companies. Much like its spiritual predecessor, Paradigm, Conatus is a free-to-start game with a constantly expanding array of original characters, it is developed by various users across the community.
Background[]
The vast land of Grimnore is a mystery all its own. Travelers often find their way to this land unwillingly, drawn in by an irresistible force that transcends time and space. It is inescapable through the same means... Those who enter find their will to leave the harsh land drained and sapped away. Grimnore is a frightful land; inhabited by strange monsters that some have come to call "Monos", denizens of the land must do what they can to survive the forces of nature and the supernatural.
The background history and lore of Conatus may be filled in over time as characters are introduced, and this lore will be compiled on the game's Lore page.
Gameplay[]
The gameplay of Conatus is heavily inspired by that of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild: players are dropped into a vast, open world, and have to survive in order to accomplish various objectives. These objectives are essentially the primary goals of the game; every time one is completed, that player is deemed the "victor", and another objective appears after a 1 in-game day delay in order to allow players to restock and prepare for the next objective. Every time the player dies, their character vanishes and their items are dropped onto the ground, and players must select another character to begin again with.
Every character possesses specific attributes unique to themselves to help survive in different ways, allowing players to react to any given event in any way they desire. All characters also begin with a specific Melee Weapon, Ranged Weapon, and Shield that is unique to them, as well as two Special Skills that only they can utilize. Other Melee Weapons, Ranged Weapons, and Shields can be found in the environment by purchasing them, finding them in the wild, or taking them from defeated enemies or players.
The player has two primary statistics to watch over: Health and Vigor. Health is the life of a character, and when Health hits 0, the character dies. Vigor is a combination of Stamina, Hunger, and Magic meters from various series, and while it drains much slower over time than similar meters, it has no auto-regeneration, and drains whenever the player uses a Special Skill or physically exerts themselves, as well as over time due to hunger. Players can regenerate Health by resting and through certain foods, while eating food in general restores Vigor. Players can also cook various items in their inventory in order to make more restorative foods, often with stronger or alternative properties.
Characters[]
Conatus begins with 10 free characters, similar to that of Paradigm. Following those 10, all characters can be purchased in order to be unlocked.
Please follow the Rules for character creation when creating a character. For help determining how to create a character, please consult the Character Guide.

Character | Description |
---|---|
001 Vega Added by Pyrostar |
Vega has been wandering the lands of Grimnore for so long, she has essentially forgotten where she came from in the first place; her old life now essentially dead, Vega is now a hardened survivalist, coursing across the land guided by nothing but her instinct and the stars. Vega is an all-around character with low health but high vigor, enabling her to carry out her mission of survival by going prolonged periods without food or performing athletic feats with relatively little vigor drain. She is naturally skilled at sniper-based weaponry, though can hold her own at any range of combat. |
002 Shuriken Added by Exotoro |
Shuriken is a ninja lesbian that comes from the east from a land known as Jenore. Having trained in the arts of mystical magic and artisan martial techniques, Shuriken is a high-power character with some draw-backs and a low health bar. She has unchecked rage that can be unleashed with her skill "Hero Heart" that will seriously sap away at her vigor. |
003 Hephie Added by Somebody495 |
A miner from outside of Grimnore, he built up sizable muscle mass. As such, he can take a little more and hit a little harder, but is generally slower. Hearing of the unexplored Grimnore, he decided to check it out and hopefully find something of worth over there, either stronger metals or fancy stones. |
004 Jen Added by CSketch |
A "synthetic" woman coming from a strange factory known as "Dream Factory", Jen ran away after saving another young boy from the factory, however, in the process she became "cursed" due to breaking factory rules, set to explode at any time if she strays away from heat for too long. This ties into her playstyle as she lacks a Vigor meter due to being synthetic at the cost of needing to stay close to heat, because staying away from heat or, worse, in cold places for too long will cause the flame in her head to go out, which will subsequently cause Jen to explode. As for her other stats, Jen isn't very fast on her feet but her close-range attack power is good. |
005 Vesper Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A young Grimpire hunter living in the deep forests of Grimnore...who also happens to have a few bat-like characteristics as well. Having lived in Grimnore for a long time, Vesper was been bitten by a Nox Grimpire as a child, but he not only survived, but he ended up developing a few traits shared by the Grimpire species. Vesper is relatively balanced, but one might notice his Vigor meter is higher than others: to balance this out, he is a fragile character, boasting a small defense stat and a paltry amount of HP. |
006 Lich Travenou Added by PabloDePablo |
A former ruler from some long-forgotten land, renowned for his tactical genius. Travenou was revived in a monstrous undead form to serve as a force of darkness in Grimnore, but he's as jolly in death as he was in life, choosing to wander the world instead. Lich Travenou is a slow yet powerful character, with skills that allow him to endure against enemies and the dangers of the wilderness. |
007 Dixie Added by Sr.Wario |
A blonde cowgirl looking to bring law and justice to Grimnore. Dixie is almost always silent and cold but has a strong sense of justice and code of honor she always stands by. In such a strange world, Dixie is most like a simple sheriff. She's a fast and strong character with low durability, relying on her ranged attacks to make up for her weak melee game. Dixie's main gimmick is her use of bullet time. |
008 Zack Shredder Added by DarKingdomHearts |
An young male who was abused in the past by both his parents for not being who he had to be, which homosexuality falls under. At some point he chanted a curse which befell upon him giving him weird octopus-like appearance. He killed both of his parents and went on to follow this bloodthirsty path as a serial killer, influenced by the demon attached to him. The tentacles allow him to attack over a longer range with multiple weapons, which also consume his Vigor much quicker. He has a low health bar but in comparison a high Vigor bar, his health being compensated with the option to hold multiple shields as well. |
009 Bibbidi Added by WesternSkies |
Bibbidi is a fairy who formerly resided in a grotto with the rest of her kind. Though fairies are meant to assist knights in their epic quests, Bibbidi has developed an unhealthy obsession toward them, and fled from her home after she was banned from helping heroes. It did not take long for Bibbidi to construct a puppet dressed as a knight for her to control. She talks to her "hero", named after the legendary knight, Merrec the Great. Bibbidi flits above Merrec, controlling him while he fights and travels the land. |
010 Banana Bob Added by Crunch |
Bob was a member of a batallion of paladins wishing to cleanse Grimoire of its evil, now turned into a gorrila and the last surviving member. Banana Bob wishes only to cleanse the evil of Grimoire with his maces. |

011 Beeatrix Added by Exotoro |
Beeatrix was a former member of the Hanging Hives of Bamazon, but was outcast and sent into Grimnore after allegedly embezzling honey resources. Beeatrix is a wispy bee woman warrior, and she has a somewhat management-based movepool that will see her building hives in enemies and creating bee minions to help her attack. |
012 Orion Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A male Zangoose who once prided himself on being a brave, heroic explorer of dark worlds. One day, however, he was sent on a dangerous mission to prove his worth as a "brave explorer": he failed, and accidentally stumbled into Grimnore. Since then, his confidence has changed into shy modesty, and he lives on his own in the more peaceful areas of Himalia. Orion is a speedy character who specializes on physical attack, though his attack methods are more based around dealing small damage over a long time. |
013 Ricky Added by Shadow Inferno |
A strange meerkat-like creature that is bizarrely a polymorph. Ricky has spent a considerable amount of time in the Grimnore dazzled by everything within it trying to replicate their forms himself. He is a thief and a liar making other residents of the Grimnore trust him even less than the usual inhabitant, he has a tendency to taunt anyone who should be able to see him although he is almost indistinguishable when transformed from whatever object he became. Ricky doesn't have a lot of health or vigor as a result of his small stature and is fairly easy to hit if he's found out. |
014 The Trapitalist Added by PabloDePablo |
The Trapitalist is a mysterious outsider, seemingly working for some higher power that holds interest in "taming" the wild lands of Grimnore. She survives by using a variety of traps and tricks, such as decoy merchants, but in a one-on-one fight she's fairly easy to take down. |
015 Queen Leona Added by IncarnateParanoia |
A matriarch of the chameleon-like creatures found throughout Grimnore. She has no particular motivations, save to claim new territory and defend the territory she has already conquered. She specializes in controlling the ever-common Leonards, but her quadrupedal form makes her unsuitable for using tools and weaponry. |
016 Selese Added by Solarrion |
A menacing and self-absorbed gambler, with a lack of morals and respect for any of those beneath her. The only thing in her life that she cares about is money, and her pet cat (albeit to a lesser extent). She travels the world to play in tournaments to earn her fortunes, and believes that luck is the most powerful force in the known universe. |
017 Usugurai Added by BlueLinkNotRedLink |
A plant that was born in the underground depths of Somber Woods, luckily there was a lantern left for the plant for the first few years, then it started getting dimmer. Without a light source, it would eventually die. But due to the strange water underground it developed four legs and soon it slowly crawled out of the underground and reached the surface. With an excess amount of the strange water, it formed a tiny lamp above its head. The light comes from the extra amount of sunlight it gets during the day, with this light it can blind predators and see through the night. |
018 Brutus Added by Shadow Inferno |
Although he appears to just be a giant teddy bear, Brutus is a vicious masked wrestler famed for his incredible winning streak in Luchadore Wrestling. However those times have long since passed Brutus, no longer the famed champion he once was Brutus' life fell on hard times as he turned to less respected means of acquiring money, eventually Brutus gathered up all his belongings (which consisted of his mask, his Luchadore Outfit and a few items) and headed to the Grimnore which have been tempting him for some time with its peace and solitude. Surprisingly Brutus has become much happier in the Grimnore as the sense of constant opponents to fight invigorates his spirit. Brutus' only distinguishing feature is his naturally high health, his other stats are dependent on the mask he is wearing; The Dragon, The Tiger, The Turtle or The Hawk. These impact his other stats as well as how well he can use Melee or Ranged Weapons. |
019 Bittany Added by DarKingdomHearts |
A rather emotionally distant woman, viewed as an extreme introvert by others. Her primary behavior is sad and melancholic. She is aromatic, not being interested in love at all. She lives like a hermit, closing herself off from society and experimented with certain advanced technologies. She is an avid gamer and her only friends are online, where she referred to as Bitty, much to her annoyance. She developed holographic reality, and a technology similar to a lightsaber, but with pixel properties. |
020 Alpha Added by Somebody495 |
An ancient automaton that used to be deluded into thinking they were in a war. However, after a mechanic got their hands on it, it managed to see the world for what it really was, and see the war was long over. They used their newfound consciousness to aid the mechanic, but another set of automatons spotted them, and mistook them for members of an opposing army. They marched onto the mechanic's shack and "conquered," forcing Alpha to retreat and eliminating the mechanic. |
021 Nacilia Added by Pyrostar |
A sodium elemental and heiress to a great and powerful shipping empire, Nacilia found herself lost and eventually made her way to Grimnore, where she decided to attempt to rebuild her lost fortune from scratch. Nacilia is a highly-money oriented character, using her prestige to purchase goods for reduced prices and having many side options to make money that most characters cannot. However, while this allows her easier access to better weaponry and goods, her basic stats in and of themselves leave much to be desired. |
022 Nereid Added by .kursickness |
A North Korean robot sent to the Grimnore through a failed time travel expiriment, Nereid is now hoping to spread Communism across the Grimnore. Nereid is a glass cannon, sacrificing defense and speed for high attack, health, and Battery (Vigor). |
023 Esdelta Added by Ziegs |
An emotionless android that was originally created by a man as a replacement to his deceased wife. After being thrown away by her creator, who had subsequently ended his own life, she was found and taken to Grimmore, where she was reworked on by a professor and brought back to life. After realizing she was completed by him to be his subordinate, she murdered him and escaped. Now she explores the lands of Grimmore to learn about whatever the world outside has to offer. |
024 Hemlock Marigold Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A young woman who has lived in Pineer all her life, Hemlock feels right at home in Grimnore: something that isn't seen very often. She is a seasoned fighter thanks to her experiences as both a lumberjack and a wielder of plant manipulation: despite that, she uses her powers in a more defensive manner. |
025 Oroshi Added by Exotoro |
Oroshi is the Goddess of Wind and has swept her form across the entire galaxy. She creates a avatar for herself to slow down and meet many of the people she otherwise breezes over. While her avatars are only a mere fraction of her power, she doesn't mind the apparent weakness her bodies have. After all, everything is a game to her… what makes this different? |
026 Chain Added by Exotoro |
Chain is a former slave girl that was held by Ms. Fuyubashi, the most wealthy woman in Jenore. She broke from her chains during a trip through the Grimnore, and has been foraging through the Grimnore since. She may be the latest reincarnation of a legendary hero. She uses a pair of spiked clubs and can play music with a Theremin. |

Armoured in a massive conglomerate of armour, Cladaviin is a researcher who accidentally ended up in the Grimnore when she was testing the possibility for Radioactive Wormholes. Her incredibly thick armour makes her an absolute tank except for her neck and mid-section which when she is standing are left open for attacks. Cladaviin can crouch to protect these weak spots although is unable to move. She has relatively low stats bar Vigor and Defense. |
029 Asoldivoid Added by Shadow Inferno |

Asoldivoid's body is made of pure carbon with an unknown additional material, though he cannot swim he also doesn't need to breathe and thus doesn't have to worry about drowning. He has remarkably good stats except for his running speed which is the worst in the entire game. |
030 Unami Added by DarKingdomHearts |
A chef who themselves is shrouded in mystery who is famously known for their great cooking and owns a big restaurant chain. They ventures out to discover new ingredients, new spices, and more. People widely speculate from which country they may be from, they themselves having stated that they are a half-blood. They specializes in almost all cuisine, French, Japanese, Italian, Indonesian just to name a few. They however have a special cooking skill which might be a gift from the gods, being able to manipulate all the tastes. |
031 Mel Added by IncarnateParanoia |
A masked savage, apparently native to the deepest forests of the Grimnore. She travel across the realm, hunting for sustenance and stealing resources from fellow wanderers. Mel is along the least durable characters in the game, with low Health and Vigor; but her quick yet quiet movement, ability to inflict ailments from a distance, and potent trapsmitting make her one of the most dangerous enemies other players can be hunted by. |
032 Gigantin Added by Samtendo09 |
A young -- but once truly enormous -- man who is actually the Lord of the Light. He seeks to destroy all worlds that suffers too much, but a dirty coward had successfully sealed most of his power, reducing him to a size of a regular giant. With that said, his light is so potent that not even the deepest darkness could survive for long. His height may have made him an easy target, but he among the strongest characters in term of stats and his versatility can certainly make up for it. |
033 Nomiko Added by Pyrostar |
The spirit of a deceased woman clinging to life in any way she can, possessing a suit of armor in order to wander the land of Grimnore. It is rumored that she is the descendant of a woman who once took the form of a sword. Nomiko certainly acts as a living weapon, and despite her normally shy and demure nature, she possesses a passion for battle that she cannot help but satiate. Nomiko possesses the unique Soul bar alongside her Health and Vigor; Soul increases as she takes damage, and she can use this Soul Gauge to power her special Soul Skills. |
034 Magia Added by Samtendo09 |
Magia Meloetta was an outcast of her home region does to causing too many mischiefs, and upon reaching the land of Grimnore, she had become interested in what is going on over there, and aim to put everyone out of their misery. This Meloetta is not like the others; she does not have an Aria or Pirouette Forms, but rather three type of forms in each a different size; Speck, Normal and Enormous, each of them having strong and weak points. This allows her to have different playstyles and make her unpredictable, but her Health and Vigor are a bit below average. |
035 Dragzire Added by Exotoro |

037 Oe'auau Added by Pyrostar |
A human girl washed ashore on Bubblath Island as a child, and subsequently raised to maturity by the bubble nymphs that inhabit the island. Trained in their ways and taught to dance and manipulate water, she eventually left her home to explore the land of Grimnore and bring the culture of the world outside her island back home to her family. Oe'auau is an entirely water-based character, capable of swimming without loss of Vigor and at extremely high speeds. Her movements are dance-like and fluid, making her hard to strike, but her limited defense and lack of ranged combat outside of water make combat risky. |
038 Splatta Added by AngryLittleYoshi |
Samson Dingok was once a male treasure hunter who somehow fell into Grimnore until he came into contact with a stone which transformed him into an odd female slime/mermaid hybrid. Now forced to hunt for a cure, "Splatta" - a nickname she gained from a local - wields slime-based attacks which have the ability to slow down and even trap enemies. She prefers a mixture of quick movement speed and high attack power with a low defense stat. Splatta's abilities are only limited by her Slime Gauge - located on her right arm - and if she does fully deplete it, she can quickly recharge using one of her Slime Jars or wait several seconds. |
039 Clayton and Bonzo Added by Samtendo09 |
Clayton the Stone Golem and Bonzo the human were almost never seen without each others by default, but do not get along well as Bonzo only forcefully join Clayton just to torment him. Nevertheless, they work better for exploration when together, but the two must be separated in order to fight properly. Clayton is the stronger of the duo in addition of higher Health, but had lower Speed, although can go into a hand-to-hand combat. Bonzo is the weaker one, but got enough Vigor to keep up even after an intense battle, and can provide distractions and statuses to the enemies. |
040 Mons Added by Ziegs |
Mons is a headstrong demigod, descendant of Vulcan, the god of fire, volcanoes and metalworking. Mons never met his parents, as he was sent to Earth to live a normal human life after being born. However, he'd eventually find out about his origins and develop both earth and fire abilities. Living around Mt. Fahrenheit, a volcano in Kavatora, Mons plans to seek his parents. Mons is a powerhouse and tanky character, generally relying on defense. He's great at melee combat and has a handful of powerful moves, and is also able to throw volcanic debris at high speeds, although those must be refilled by using one of his skills. His strength and defense are high but at the expense of very slow movement and bad recovery. |
041
Added by Guygombaa |
Once a mortal man, Tektus was a knight who died fighting against a group of Demonic lords. Unable to see such a legendary warrior die, the gods preserved his soul and mind in a robotic shell. His former profession and new body make him a highly defensive character, but at the cost of drastically lowered speed. His melding of flesh and steel also offers two unique features: Modules and Faith. |
042
Garrus Added by Guygombaa |
Having lived on his own for 20 years, Garrus is no stranger to difficult fights. Utilising all of his survival skills, Garrus fights for the purest reason of all: to see tomorrow. Though his stats are fairly average, he shines outside of combat, where his survival skills allow him to sustain himself for longer in even the harshest environments. |
043 Xilda Added by Exotoro |
A warrior of light that fought Lilithigan and Dragzire alongside Chain, many, many times. Although she appears to be a pure and holy character, she has dark secrets and contradicting character traits that go against this image. She is the most balanced out of the Quadforce. |
044 Hiro the Green Lumberjack Added by Exotoro |
A retro video game character that escaped his television prison and is heavily delusional and delirious, seeing visions of the world he left in the world of Conatus. Enemies become trees that he collects lumber from and he thinks he sees coins all over the place. |
045 TBA Dridra, Clicker and Charlene Added by Crunch |
Drida was a half-spider assassin living in a settlement inside an abandoned warmachine drifting through space, assisted by her floating spotter/lover Clicker and her sentient sniper rifle/other lover Charlene. This all changed after a fight against a teleporting wizard sent the poly couple to Grimoire. Now they use their cybernetics and combat skills to survive in this new strange world. |
046 TBA Deneb Added by Pyrostar |
A star fairy descended from the cosmos as a beacon of hope and revival for those trapped in Grimnore... Only to become trapped himself. Deneb is a frail character, but possesses the power to not just revive himself upon death, but others as well. In his quest to restore and revive the world, he is strangely a team player in a largely competitive game, acting as a method for players to viably unite and face the world as a team. |
047 Rocket Added by Megabooms |
A young kid woke up in Grimnore one day with no idea how he got there, or who he was. There was a glowing stick lying next to him, so he picked it up... And all the secrets of the universe filled his head. He now goes by the name of Rocket, and travels Grimnore, using his glowy stick as a weapon. Rocket can slightly distort the universe, causing damage to his opponent or restoring friends' health, but this costs a lot of vigour. |
048 Wick Added by FlamingoPhoenixFeathers |
A young, loud-mouthed British man with family issues, Chadwick Orcen Jr., or "Wick" as he prefers to be called, was born into a wealthy ménage of necromancer cultists whose goal it was to dominate the world using the undead. Wick, not wanting anything to do with the "family business", ran away from his home, taking his fledgling necromancy powers and revenant servants — among other things — with him. Wick is a very intricate character who can dole out massive amounts of damage and snowball in power as a reward for playing the long game, placing extra pressure on the player's Vigour usage. |
049The Ghost Hunter's (Bob and John)Added by Malaifoueteuati | The two ghost hunter's, Bob La'ava'u (the glasses one) and John Waigata (the hat one), both are from Samoa but came to Auckland of New Zealand, Bob makes random videos of ghost hunting with his cousin, John, both have made some many youtube videos to gain some views and make some comedy stuff sometimes, brought many items with them to spot a ghost and some other stuffs, they unknowingly came to Grimnore because they heard there were ghost's on the island, so they came to the island with all of their stuffs and camera's to make a video, not knowing that there are no ghost's (well maybe). |

009 Phased Metal Blade Added by Shadow Inferno |
A bizarre sword whose blade is unable to keep its form, it will shift between being a solid and being a suspended liquid, held by some sort of gravitational device in the hilt, if struck while its solid it is quite painful but it's almost useless in its liquid form, assuming it doesn't turn back into a solid while its passed through someone. 1 or 18 Power |
010 Boned Gauntlet Added by Shadow Inferno |
Don't ask where it came from, this gauntlet is quite useful for dealing quick and direct damage however it will become bound to whoever wields it even after they die, this means they cannot use any other weapon. 22 Power |

015 Broken Plasma Whip Added by Shadow Inferno |
A broken plasma whip, apparently the unbroken variety doesn't exost on Grimnore. The energy seeps out of this whip leaving behind a deadly trail of toxic material that can singe e ground. It can still serve its function fortunately. 11 Power |
016 Eldritch Hammer Added by Shadow Inferno |

017 The Universe's smallest Daggers Added by Shadow Inferno |
This incredibly tiny dagger is pretty much useless at anything other than point blank range, that being said it is very fortunate that it is seeped in the venom of a Acropalypse Spider causing incredible pain to anyone hurt by the dagger. 4 Power Passive Perk: Deals 12 damage per second for 6 seconds due to Poison |
018 Tuning Sword of Souls Added by Shadow Inferno |
A long split-blade sword which reverberates a powerful ringing sound when it strikes something solid, it not only hurts if it with the blade but also due to the soundwaves that reverberate within one's own body. The staff of a Lamington Wizard, there is no way for anyone to use its true powers so it's better to just hit people over the head with it, its long range makes it useful despite its low overall attack power. Bestiary[]
A collection of all the enemies that players can come across throughout the land of Grimnore.
Name | Description |
---|---|
001 Grimpire Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A creature that resembles a hybrid of a phantom and a vampire, these creatures are common in the dark skies of Grimnore. While frail, they have moderate strength, being able to swoop down at players and bite them, draining their health away slowly. They are capable of flight, but they don't usually fly very high off the ground. Stakes are especially powerful on Grimpires. |
002 Umbral Grimpire Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A member of the Grimpire family, Umbral Grimpires are essentially stronger versions of regular Grimpires. They have increased bulk and speed, though they seem to be weaker than other enemies around them. Umbral Grimpires can bite players to drain their health and heal themselves, summon small wispy fires to hurl at players, and can bring upon dark gales of wind to cut at weak shields. Stakes are especially powerful on Umbral Grimpires. |
003 Misen Grimpire Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A member of the Grimpire family, Misen Grimpires are incredibly fast, and, even though they don't do much damage on their own, they are found in packs of 7-12, and can tear apart player characters who aren't careful. They bite at the bodies of players who are too slow to keep track of their movements. Thankfully, they have almost no defense mechanisms, so killing them isn't hard if you can keep up with them. Stakes are especially powerful on Misen Grimpires. |
004 Nox Grimpire Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A member of the Grimpire family, Nox Grimpires are rare, but maybe that's for the best. Often said to be the deathliest of the regular Grimpire family, Nox Grimpires have all sorts of fatal magic to cast. When a player stares into it's eyes, it affects said player's eyes, and their line of vision will be heavily darkened temporarily. Aside from that, they can summon powerful wisps and magic gales, as expected, and they have a deadly bite that leaves behind a 10 second poison effect for those who survive the initial bite. As an added fear, stakes don't do double damage on Nox Grimpires, unlike almost every other member of the Grimpire family. In other words, it's unsafe to battle these creatures one-on-one. |
005 Paper Doll Added by Somebody495 |
A tall being imbued by magic. They resemble a maiden, they're cut in such a way that they look like they're wearing a long dress and have long hair. They skip and stride through their nearby environment. If they spot an innocent, they'll prance towards them, and attack by folding up into dangerous shapes that can slash up foes. It should be noted, while a few can be found in abandoned huts, if you see large groups of them (at least 8), chances are a Witch is nearby. They're frail and exceptionally weak to slash attacks and fire. However, they're resistant to blunt weaponry. |
006 Witch Added by Somebody495 |
A skinny being that usually hides out in dark areas. Their location is usually surrounded by Paper Dolls. While they may look large, that's their orange cloak hiding their skinny, inebriated bodies. They stand taller than most playable characters. Underneath their cloak, they wear a black suit with belts strapped around their waist and over their chest. They also wear a large, round helmet that covers their face with a permanent grin painted on it and big eye holes. They also wear a point hat half their height. When encountered, they can summon up a flaming shockwave, send forth balls of varying elemental attacks, and, if anyone comes close, they can imbue their hands with an element and thrust it at their opponent. They can take a lot of damage. |
007 Wilderbeest Added by Exotoro |
A bipedal animal with sharp teeth and claws, resembling somewhat of a striped, feral hyena. They are basic, low level enemies that drop Wilderbeest Meat. |
008 Greater Wilderbeest Added by Exotoro |
A bipedal animal with sharp teeth and claws, resembling somewhat of a striped, feral hyena. They have mow-hawks made of blue flame and charge with their fiery mouths. They are a medium level enemy that hangs around caves. They always drop Cooked Wilderbeest Meat. |
009 Waffle Warrior Added by Exotoro |
Strange warriors created from mystical batter that wield french toast stick swords and hardened egg shields. They resemble waffles and have red eyes in two of the square pockets in their waffle bodies. They are low level enemies that are rather stupid and drop Syrup Sap and Waffles. |
010 Grandpire Added by Exotoro |
Elderly men and women who were turned into vampires waaay too late in their lives. They are dlow and often forget where the player is once out of their sight and despite being incredibly fragile, they actually pack a hell of a punch. Don't underestimate them. |
011 Man O' Hearth Added by PabloDePablo |
A giant being with glowing gelatinous skin, encased in a sturdy shell resembling a small cabin. With their powerful attacks, heavy defenses, and gargantuan stature, they're tough to defeat, but killing one lets you use its shell as a campsite to rest and cook in. |
012 Tututice Added by DarKingdomHearts |
A small plum fairy entirely covered by snow and with an iced skin. They are usually found in cold areas dancing/ice skating around. They are quick on their feet and can spin around on their leg, damaging those who it touches. They can sense danger and might flee. They commonly drop Frozen Plums. |
013 Shogguns Added by DarKingdomHearts |
An otherworldly creature, appearing as tiny skull-like ninjas. They spawn out of the ground and afterwards can teleport around the area. They taunt the player and shoot little balls of darkness at them. When coming towards they teleport away. |
014 Pillar of Fun Added by DarKingdomHearts |
Another otherworldly creature. When they sprout out of the ground they are a non-moving pillar made out of tentacles with a star on top which has a singular eye in it. It shoots small laserbeams from its eye and have to be killed layer for layer. |
015 Didi Hermit Added by Somebody495 |
It appears as a giant stone with gems embedded into it. When players approach it, the stone lifts, revealing a giant hermit crab has taken residence in the stone. It's claws are as large as boulders, and it so much as stepping on the player is enough to deal a bit of damage. The body under the stone is covered in a hard exoskeleton, giving it significant defense. Players can either use magic to bypass those defenses, or use blunt weaponry to smash the exoskeleton. Players can also deal significant damage to the legs to make it stop moving for a little bit. Defeating it leaves behind the giant stone, allowing players to claim the gems. They're typically found in large beach areas. |
016 Bear Cub Added by Shadow Inferno |
A small bear, this creature tends to stay with its parents although will attempt to fight you if it sees you to prove its readiness to live on its own. They will slash with their claws or bite with their fangs, they'll also attempt to pummel the player if they're far enough away. If they become badly injured the Bear Cubs will tend to retreat to hide behind their parent or run away if no parent is present or has been killed already. They are found in Forests and Caves. |
017 Bear Added by Shadow Inferno |
A bear, how these simple creatures ended up here is unknown, it is likely they too were attracted to the Grimnore like so many others. These large hulking creatures will tend to live in small groups although can occasionally be found living on their own. It is not recommended to approach one if not well prepared, they are remarkably tough and will not easily back down. Their massive weight can easily overwhelm smaller characters and their razor sharp fangs and claws will tear apart shields. Make sure that you don't kill a bear's cubs before you kill the bear otherwise it will go into an enraged mode and attack with more ferocity and power. Like Bear Cubs, Bears live in Forests and Caves. |
018 Blurgg Added by Shadow Inferno |
A strange blob-like creature that seems to be capable of living anywhere in the Grimnore, it is relatively harmless although in large numbers can be quite a nuisance, they are not particularly fast and primarily just try to get in the player's way. Blurggs can fuse together becoming large and more powerful, if one becomes large enough it will start rolling around attempting to absorb the player into its body and slowly kill them via. suffocation. Blurggs are found pretty much everywhere. |
019 Burning Blurgg Added by Shadow Inferno |
This Blurgg is on fire, it doesn't seem to mind though although if you see one in a forest it is suggested to run as they are prone to igniting entire forests by accident. These Blurggs seem to be able to sustain their fire due to a small amount of lava located near their core, removing the lava will force it turn revert to a standard Blurgg. These Blurggs are most commonly found on Mountainous areas although can be found in many locations less frequently. |
020 King Blurgg Added by Shadow Inferno |
The King of the Blurggs? Well one of them anyways, it seems that if a Blurgg has lived long enough it will create a crown out of its own body and use the moonlight to solidify the crown. These Blurggs can command other Blurggs and seem somewhat smarter than the average onf of their species. They demonstrate the ability that Blurggs can cling to walls and ceilings and will often use this to ambush unwary players to try and absorb them. Knocking a King Blurgg's crown off its head will cause other Blurggs to desperately try and collect the crown to become the new king. |
021 Bluggs Bunny Added by Exotoro |
A strange blob-like creature that takes after the form of a tall bipedal rabbit. It can take a lot of damage and has suprisingly a lot of damage it can dish out when it decides it's not gonna play around anymore. It is insistent on calling the player "doc" regardless of their profession and chews on a Gel Carrot that it will drop after being defeated. |
022 Hypothermal Grimpire Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
A strange cousin of the Grimpire family that lives in the cold heights of Himalia. They live inside the cold, dark caves inside the mountains. They're somewhat bulky, with high defenses, but have less strength than others. Be wary of their bite: it can freeze a player if it lands! |
023 Burstbuzzard Added by Shadow Inferno |
A noisy animal that tends to stick to the ground although will take flight temporarily to flee or attack. These creatures have what appear to be speakers for mouths and will let out ear-deafening noise if frightened which is reflected of metallic objects will cause the sound to be even louder. They have sharp talons and will attempt to dive attack anything that attacks them. They can be found practically anywhere although prefer hilly and mountainous locations. |
024 Gnawworm Added by Shadow Inferno |
A burrowing, worm creature that will eat the food off any plant, its leech-like mouth allows it to burrow through the ground easily and will heavily damage anything that gets caught in its mouth. They are fairly fast and tend to move in groups of 3-8, they are known to live in grasslands and swamps. |
025 Blizzard Buzzard Added by Exotoro |
A chilly vulture bird that has icicles dripping of it's beak. It hunts for weak prey that are dying in the snow and eats whatever remain. You may have to fight one if you kill a enemy in a cold area, but luckily they don't have much to work with or are even much of a threat. |
026 Super Gummi Worm Added by Exotoro |
A sweet tasting giant worm that can take a lot of damage but splatter into Gummi Chunks. There are about 10-20 Gummi Chunks per worm, but watch out; it can strike back with it's massive weight. |
027 Grimblehorse Added by Shadow Inferno |
A horse engulfed by darkness, these large imposing creatures can snort smoke out of their nostrils causing one's vision to become obscured. Their piercing yellow eyes act as warnings to anyone in their territory and they will charge with incredible speed, it is heavily advised to avoid smoke clouds because of them and the fact they can often hide more creatures within. They are commonly found in arid and canyon areas as well as rarely in grasslands. |
028 Waru-Waru Added by Shadow Inferno |
A howling humanoid creature that appears to have been starved for a long time, they have clear white eyes and their bones are clearly visible beneath their skin. Their long limbs make them both intimidating and unsettling to anyone who encounters them and they will chase after anyone they see letting out an unearthly howl all the while alerting more of them to a player's position. If one reaches a player it will lunge onto them and start hammering on their head and biting them repeatedly, it is very hard to shake them off once this happens. Fortunately they are only encountered in the coldest environments as their skin will literally be set aflame otherwise. |
029 Snapsrite Added by Shadow Inferno |
A being of pure energy, they appear randomly across the Grimnore and are completely harmless, that is assuming one keeps their distance if they aim on killing a Snapsprite. If they are hurt enough a Snapsprite will turn solid and begin flashing, they will then explode in an impressive explosion capable of levelling trees at point-blank range. |
030 Gemini Snapsprite Added by Shadow Inferno |
A strange mutation on the standard Snapsprite, these larger Snapspirtes seem to sing melodies when in the presence of other creatures and will actually pacify the other creatures of the Grimnore, however if attacked they will let out a shriek that will cause any creature in range to go beserk, their explosions are even more devastating as well so it is advised to attack from a distance. |
031 Sclera Added by Shadow Inferno |
Large eyeball creatures which seem to just roll around the place, it is not advised to attack them as they store electrical energy inside their body and if attacked they will target whoever attacked them and fire a powerful laser, the colour of the eye also seems to determine the power of the energy in their body with red eyes having little to no energy whereas blue eyes have massive amounts of energy. |
032 Hyphema Added by Shadow Inferno |
A battle damaged Sclera, these hardy beings have a tough exterior that doesn't easily break. They cannot fire lasers like their younger counterparts but piercing their bodies with sharp objects will allow them to fire much more powerful bursts of energy out in unfocused laser beams. The Hyphema tend to be found in Marshy locations and around rivers. |
033 Cretmahn Added by IncarnateParanoia |
This thing LOOKS like a merchant, but be careful - if you try to get away from it without buying anything, it will transform into a hostile specter and relentlessly attack. If you know you aren't interested in its wares, then your best bet is to land the first blow. They can be found anywhere, but are most common at forests during nighttime. |
034 Leonard Added by IncarnateParanoia |
A race of large iguanas most famous for their widespread and adaptable civilization. And their weird name, of course. They are docile and weak without a queen, but can quickly form swarms when provoked. |
035 Leonard Riggs Added by Exotoro |
A old man with a gun who ain't afraid to be shot. He may be elderly, but he won't hesitate, b****. He can counter most melee attacks, so the best option here is to use ranged attacks to fire back. |
036 Bamazon Bee Warrior Added by Exotoro |
Warrior women that have a bee theme. They can use their stinger attack to turn the player into a husk and transform them into a bee with low, low health, however they die after using it. They use a spear to do melee attacks. Avoid their stinger attack or you'll have to find a way to make use of your new bee body. |
037 Reversitaur Added by Shadow Inferno |
With the head of a man on the body of a bull, this horrifying almost eldritch creature screams in agony as it charges across open grasslands and arid deserts in the night. They tend to keep their eyes closed making their movements random but their keen hearing can pick up on nearby targets which can cause them to open their eyes revealing them to be shining beams that will focus on its target with unsettling precision as the creature can articulate its head a full 360 degrees. |
038 Mimic Added by Pokerninja2 |
A strange black creature that poses as weapons or food. It lures others with the value of its costume, and then shows its true colors before striking. One can tell a Mimic from an actual weapon or food by its paler color scheme; Mimics haven't quite caught upon that yet. When it shows its true form, it will attempt to slash at you with its claws. You can try to attack a Mimic in its disguise, but remember that you risk probably destroying something you may find handy. |
040 Geletanos Added by Pokerninja2 |
This large, green monster is made entirely out of goo. Try not to get sucked in or you may find yourself trapped, constantly taking damage. You can attack it, but dealing enough damage will make it split in two smaller Gelatanos, and will continually multiply as you attack. If you can get them small enough, they will be defeated without splitting. |
041 Lava Geletanos Added by Pokerninja2 |
A Geletanos-like creature. Instead of goo however, it is made of magma, giving it a red, bright color. Because of this, you'd better not touch it unless you want to get burned. It will also melt smaller weapons thrown at it, meaning you'll need stronger weapons. Like a regular Geletanos, it will split into smaller versions of itself as it gets damaged. |
042 Puzzling 3x3 Cubic Creature Added by Shadow Inferno |
A bizarre automatonical creation that seems to wander all over the Grimnore, its creator is unknown however it will randomly rotate the parts of its body as it moves along. If it detects a player it will light up the side of its body facing the player and fire a blast of energy with effects varying according to the main colour on that side. |
043 Snoo Added by Shadow Inferno |
A snowmoan looking creature found in the most frigid locations, it will disguise itself by separating its body and will form into its snowman form when it wants to attack. It lets out a chilling breath that can freeze anyone in its range. |
044 Fauxgloo Added by TheFoxyRiolu |
It may look like a regular ol' igloo, but don't come any closer! Under the small ice fortress is a phantom that will try and pull you inside the igloo. Being pulled in will cause the player to suffer from burn damage, strangely enough. |
045 Ancient Automaton Added by Somebody495 |
A soldier made of cold steel. They're dressed up in variants of armor, from steel to gold, and patrol various areas. As players pass by them, they can hear them talking like they're in a war, about to arrive on enemy territory and trying to take the land for themselves. They're typically seen either wielding a ranged weapon, a spear weapon, or a slashing weapon. |
046 Crandall Added by Exotoro |
A giant four armed lizard armed with a spear. They stalk the players before attacking them, and certain things, like talking to female shopkeepers or eating Cranberries will set them off in a raging attack. Crandalls are cold and calculating if faced head on, but if sent into a rage they become rather stupid. |
047 Child of Lamington Added by Shadow Inferno |
A member pf a strange cult found in the Grimnore, these individuals worship the dessert food as a god for some reason. They will fight tooth and nail if they smell a lamington and are known to house many lamingtons in their caves. |
048 Lamington Wizard Added by Shadow Inferno |
Apparently after having ingested a magical Lamington this human has been gifted with its incredible powers. Their bodies are remarkably hard and usually require a blunt weapon to even hurt. They can create Lamingtons out of thin air to use as projectiles, usually by setting them on fire. Many Children of Lamington will gather around a Lamington Wizard. |
049 Cloak Added by DarKingdomHearts |
A tiny wizard-like being which basically is a floating cloak with two tiny little blank eyes floating inside of it. They are a magical compressed energy which gives itself form by wearing the cloak. It usually sends out magical energy in a form like a circle, square, triangle and X. Usually they teleport to another spot launching an attack. |
050 Crimson Cloak Added by DarKingdomHearts |
Unlike the regular Cloak, this red-eyed version doesn't like to play around and seems much more focused on destroying their opponent. They wear the same cloak but with crimson spike patterns, and two crimson horns sewed onto the hood. They fire dark energy orbs 360° around them in the same various shapes. |
051 Lab Coat Added by DarKingdomHearts |
Another version of the Cloak enemy, which now wears a lab coat and has green eyes instead. They seem to have gotten interested in engineering instead of magic and instead of firing orbs, they launch firework-like projectiles. However once they explode the orbs inside spread over the area of combustion in the same various shapes. |
052 Forte Added by DarKingdomHearts |
A being that stands tall compared to most players, who has the upper body of a musical organ with a face worked in there somewhere. It slowly moves in inside areas playing ominous music to scare off its predators. When it spots someone they are very active enemies and will shoot musical notes at them, release a loud blast when they're nearby and may even play music to alert other enemies in the surrounding area. |
