one of the present from jude??[]

i have read the chapiter where lucy find that his father is death there is a pictures with a present from jude this one it this the key for pyxis?? --Nitram86 21:00, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

We do not know what the present was so it would be speculation to say that Pyxis was the present. 21:06, March 24, 2012 (UTC)

Lucy having Pyxis Key quite early[]

While rewatching the anime, I just noticed something. When Loke gives Lucy her keys back aftr beating Bixlow in the Fighting Festival arc, there are six golden and five silver keys on the ring.

Doesn't that meant that she already had Pyxis' key at that point, even though she was never seen using it?

Whilst it is a nice find, there are 3 things that make me instantly reject this.

Obviously, this is from the anime. That not only makes the cannon-ness questionable, but these are the guys who coloured Rufus' hair pink once and didn't notice.
Lucy at that time had 6 golden keys (Aquarius, Taurus, Cancer, Loke, Sag and Virgo) yet I cannot count 6 golden keys on that ring.
If Lucy had 6 golden keys and at least the 4 silver we know she had, there should be 10 keys on the chain. The most I can see is 9 in that image. If I push myself, I could argue 10, but even then we are one key short because we should also be including Pyxis.

Hence, I'm going to disregard this as the anime being the anime. Sorry :/

No need to feel sorry. I didn't really expect much to come of it, since by itself it's a rather thin and circumstancial lead. And there's no guarantee that it isn't a not yet revealed key or as you said a messup by the animators. I just wanted to put the information out in case nobody else noticed it (or bothered to tell about it) so far. Better to discuss and regect it, than people being unaware IMO.

Regarding the number of keys: The sceenshot lost a bit of quality when uploading, but if you check the anime itself, you can see that it's really six gold and five silver ones.

Ah right, yes Nick, that was just an animation oopsie. I don't think she had it prior to getting on Tenrou Island, since I'm sure she would've summoned Pyxis to help her or something lol. I'm under the impression she got Pyxis as a present from her father in that long box or she even got it before the GMG.
