Chapter 126

Stand up!!!! is the 126th chapter of Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail.

Natsu and Laxus continue their fight; soon Laxus seems to have the upper hand. However, Natsu is not giving up and continues attacking, saying that the Guild will be his, prompting Laxus to make one final attempt in killing Natsu. Gajeel, however, uses himself as a lightning rod, redirecting the lightning. His sacrifice fuels Natsu, who attacks Laxus with his most powerful spells, defeating him, and finally putting an end to Laxus' game.

Summary[]

The arduous battle opposing Natsu to Laxus continues and no one is willing to be defeated but are determined more than ever to win this fight. Natsu is fighting to prevent Laxus from getting his hands on Fairy Tail and be the next master. Natsu states that this guild is like his home. Even with Laxus having the upper hand and Natsu getting beaten, he will not just give up that easily.

Laxus enraged by Natsu not giving up lands him hard blows and says that the likes of Natsu could never defeat him. But Natsu is dauntless, he tells Laxus the guild does not belong to him and stands up completely worn out. Laxus irritated prepares to cast his powerful spell on Natsu. Despite that Fried has tried to make him see reason, Laxus cast his Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd on Natsu. Fortunately, Gajeel uses his iron as a lightning rod and redirects the attack to himself.

Natsu uses a chain of Fire Dragon Slayer Magic on Laxus who is unable to defend himself. Levy tells that Dragon Slayer Magic smashes through Dragon scales, crushes Dragon entrails and reaps the Dragon's soul. Fried is astonished before this Magic; Natsu defeats Laxus with Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade. As Laxus lies on the ground, Natsu screams mournfully towards the sky.
