Trivia

• This is the second time Timmy kisses Tootie. The first was in "Birthday Wish."
• From this episode onward, Tootie's glasses are round like Mr. Crocker's instead of her former "diva-style" shape.
• This is the reappearance of Tootie since "Oh, Brother!"
• In production order, this is the first appearance of Tootie in Season 6.
  • In episode order, this is the second and last appearance of Tootie in Season 6.
• In this episode, Timmy refers to Tootie as one of his enemies, but never before in the series he had seen her that way.
• It was established in this episode that Mr. Turner had quit his "real job" and decided to pursue his "dream job" of selling sock monkeys. That may explain why Timmy's father now works for Pencil Nexus. It is probably because the original company wouldn't hire him back.
• This episode plays the music track on the title card. The music track was the same from "The Big Problem!", the show premiere.

Allusions

• Dread 'N' Breakfast - Is a pun on Bed and Breakfast.
• Back to the Future - At the beginning, when Timmy returned from time-traveling, the time machine he used was a DeLorean; which is a reference to the time machine used in the movie.
• Scooby-Doo! - When Tootie, Crocker and Dark Laser chase Timmy through multiple doors, they make a reference to the motif used in the chase sequences.
  • During the chase, a headless man riding a horse was chasing a teen and his dog which are similar to Shaggy and Scooby. Adding by, the Headless man is an enemy in Scooby-Doo!

Running Gags

• Tootie trying to kiss Timmy.
• Mr. Turner trying to sell his sock monkeys.
• Someone asking Mr. Turner if sock monkeys can talk or fight.
• Wanda and Timmy noting that they forgot to drop Abraham Lincoln in Gettysburg. Another running gag in the episode associated with him is Abe saying "Four score and seven years ago..."

Goofs

• When Timmy was about to take his breakfast, there was a bowl of cereal on the table, but Mrs. Turner served him Bacon and Money instead of cereal.
• At one point, Dark Laser is killed, but Wanda brings him back to life. This is not possible, because Da Rules say that you can't bring someone dead back to life unless the laser transformed Dark Laser into dust instead of vaporizing him.
• How can Tootie not see Cosmo and Wanda when she entered the treehouse?
• In "Twistory," three presidents were gone for only a couple of minutes but soon, history changed, but Abraham Lincoln was in Timmy's time the entire episode, however, history wasn't affected.
• In two scenes, Tootie's glasses were white.

Dark Laser: I want to destroy you and move on with my life! Isn't that right Flipsie?

Crocker: And now I want to check out. [screams and runs to his truck that transforms into a jet that flys and crashes.] Ooofff! Darn!

Timmy: [After Wanda accidently vaporizes Dark Laser] Whoa, too far!

Dark Laser: [Wanda brings him back to life] Ok, ok, ok! [kneels] I surrender to your sock monkey army! I'll check out! [pushes button and his suit becomes a dress] Ah, wrong button!
