Parsiak zoroastroar erlijioko elkarte etniko bateko partaideak dira, India mendebaldean bizi direnak, bereziki Mumbain. VIII. mendean, jazarpen erlijiosotik ihesi, Indiara joan ziren pertsiarren ondorengoak dira.

2001eko indiar erroldaren arabera, urte horretan, Indian, 69.901 parsi bizi ziren. Pakistanen 5.000 inguru dira. Munduan dauden parsiak, 100.000 inguruan estimatzen da.

Euren hildakoak, Isiltasunaren Dorreetan uzteko hil erritua zuten, putreek jan zitzaten.
