[edit]From Proto-Albanian *krādā. Possibly cognate to Gothic 𐌷𐍂𐍉𐍄 (hrōt, “roof”), Old High German rāza (“honeycomb”), and Proto-Slavic *krada (“heap, pile”), *korda (“pile of logs”).
