Cognate with Thai ค้อน (kɔ́ɔn), Lao ຄ້ອນ (khǭn), Shan ၶွၼ်ႉ (khâ̰un), Ahom 𑜁𑜨𑜃𑜫 (khon), Saek กฺอน.
