  1. (law) In many civil law jurisdictions, a specialized court separate from the ordinary court system in charge of reviewing decisions made by public authorities under administrative law.

Usage notes

There is also an administrative court under the King's Bench Division in the England and Wales High Court, but it is not separate from the ordinary court system.
