- The word ܐܒܐ is one of only three nouns in the entire language that have an irregular possessive stem ending in the letter Waw; the other two being ܐܚܐ (ʾăḥāʾ, “brother”) and ܚܡܐ (ḥəmāʾ, “father-in-law”).
