Central Montenegro is a region in Montenegro. It is centered around the capital Podgorica.

  • 1 Podgorica – The capital and biggest city in Montenegro, experiencing a huge architectural boom in the last couple of years.
  • 2 Cetinje – The old royal capital of Montenegro, with a large number of museums, monasteries and former embassies.
  • 3 Danilovgrad Danilovgrad on Wikipedia – Near the famous Ostrog monastery.
  • 4 Nikšić – The second largest city in Montenegro and economically important.
  • 5 Rijeka Crnojevica – A small historical town on the ancient trading route through the country.
  • 6 Tuzi – A small town in the Podgorica municipality which is a major trading center, due to its location, between the Montenegrin capital and Albania.
  • 7 Virpazar – The main entry point to the Skadar lake, belongs to the municipality of Bar.
