Alt rationale: This is broader and includes name forms that would not be attested in the original Germanic languages, but are certainly derived from them. Think about Spanish Guillermo or Italian Guglielmo, not attested in Germanic languages themselves, but ultimately derived from Germanic Wilhelm (name)/Willem/William etc. This may set a good precedent for other renamings in Category:Names by language. Comparison Category:Slavic-language names. Not sure if this should be added to the nom, but there is no single "Slavic language". Perhaps "Proto-Slavic" or "of Slavic origin" is meant? Propose merging Category:Turkic festivals to Category:Turkic mythology

Merge to Category:Summer festivals, per Sabantuy. I'm looking at Category:Festivals by culture, and am wondering if is should be disassembled. Culture is such a very broad, imprecise term, that I don't know if it's useful for category intersection. Looking through the subcats of Category:Categories by culture, a lot of them seem to be more by location, nationality, or language - More specific and or "precise", groupings for categorisation.- jc37 18:46, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Propose renaming Category:Storage systems to Category:Computer storage systems

Nominator's rationale: Per the cat description, this category is indeed for computer data storage systems. Renaming avoid confusions; the cat currently contains Coin folder, Coin slab, and Coin storage which are "storage systems", of a sort, for coins. The proposed target is consistent with sibling categories Category:Computer storage companies, Category:Computer storage media, and Category:Computer storage companies.
