It is clear by WP:BLP1E and WP:MEMORIAL that the topic is not notable for a biographical article. At best, it may be the event that is notable. In the present case, however, I doubt that. The article claims coverage in local newspapers and in Crimewatch UK. But that would apply to hundreds, if not thousands of unsolved murders in the UK; they cannot possibly all be covered on Wikipedia? -- Sent here as part of the Notability wikiproject. --B. - Delete A man, not otherwise notable, was hit in the head and killed by an unknown person in 1985. That does not make an encyclopedia article. Per WP:NOT "The fact that someone or something has been in the news for a brief period of time does not automatically justify an encyclopedia article." Edison 20:57, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete - crimewatch doesn't make it notable. It includes dozens of local crimes in which the police are asking for help that week.--Docg 21:18, 12 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
