The result was merge to Guerrilla warfare - selectively, for well-sourced content. Owen× ☎ 20:42, 4 December 2024 (UTC)

Seems to be WP:SYNTH in my view. It lists various weapons and tactics once used by insurgent groups, but lacks a clear definition of what qualifies as an "insurgency weapon" or tactic. The ultimate answer appears to be "anything that's lying around", making the idea overly vague. A large portion of the article is original research. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ (ᴛ) 18:56, 27 November 2024 (UTC)

- Delete The topic is inherently WP:OR, as it's hard to see how any weapon or tactic is necessarily linked to insurgent groups. I suppose some of the properly-sourced material could be merged with Improvised weapon or Guerrilla warfare, but I'm not seeing how anything in this article is specific to insurgencies except in the author's mind. WP:TNT at the very least; as it stands, the article is a bunch of disturbingly-well-researched violence porn. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 21:16, 27 November 2024 (UTC)
- Delete given the vast range of types of insurgencies, weapons and tactics, I don't see how any useful encyclopaedic page can be created on this topic. Mztourist (talk) 07:22, 28 November 2024 (UTC)
- I think a merge to guerrilla warfare would be a reasonable alternative to deleting. Bearian (talk) 03:19, 1 December 2024 (UTC)
- Delete Mostly per Mztourist. Also, many of these "weapons and tactics" are not in any way unique to insurgencies. The page could create a false equivalency or incorrect perception. Intothatdarkness 12:49, 3 December 2024 (UTC)
