Is this woman notable? All the refs seem to be book publishers' blurbs about her beek. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 12:12, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- this may be a case where WP:SYSTEMICBIAS shows its effects, however if the claims in the original version were true, I would have expected at least a couple of hits in Google Scholar and that didn't happen and I would have expected the Tribune to honor one of Chicago's own trailblazers with a staff-written obit, but there is just the personal one from the family. -- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:47, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- per the comment below I Like Me by Blanche Gaston published by I Like Me Publishing does indeed sound self published. With no indication of notability found, formally registering as Delete-- TRPoD aka The Red Pen of Doom 12:41, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

- Delete The book title sounds like many self help books from the 70s. It is apparently self-published. Google Books has nothing. Ebsco nothing. Publishers Weekly nothing. NY Times nothing. Chicago Sun Times nothing (other than short obit). Only a single member on LibraryThing claims to hold a copy which is evidence though not proof that it is not notable. -- Green Cardamom (talk) 17:27, 11 November 2013 (UTC)
- Delete. All she appears to have done is written one book - which would not pass WP:NBOOK either. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:02, 12 November 2013 (UTC)
