Voyennes is a commune in the Somme department in Hauts-de-France in northern France.
Geography
[edit]Voyennes is situated 30 miles(48 km) west of Amiens, on the D417 road in the valley of the Somme.
History
[edit]On 19 October 1415, portions of the army of King Henry V of England crossed the Somme at Voyennes at an undefended causeway, a few days before the Battle of Agincourt.[3]
