[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Ringo Starr. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. Please stop the disruption, otherwise you may be blocked from editing. freshacconci talktalk 16:28, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. 24 hour WP:EW sanction regarding Ringo Starr. You have been reverted by different editors back to the status quo, explaining that only the primary instruments should be noted in the infobox. Your responses have been aggressive and disruptive. Consensus, especially when established and upheld by the majority, needs to be changed by discussion. I hope that you will use the dispute resolution processes once this block expires. Please note you have been blocked under WP:EW and not WP:3RR, which I am aware you have been careful to avoid. LessHeard vanU (talk) 19:32, 10 January 2010 (UTC)
Hello, Zapspace! I undid your edit[1] at this article because it is not referenced, and therefore falls under "original research". Adding that it was "barely audible" to the fact that it was his last recording with the band could lead readers to believe many different things: he was addled by drugs and he played badly, he was intentionally "mixed out" of the record because they wanted him gone anyway... etc. If it's backed by a reliable source (any reliable source from anywhere) with a citation it most definitely should stay; but adding it as it was with no source can't be good for an article that already suffers greatly from a lack of citations (and other issues). I would encourage and urge you to find a source so it can be included, and if you need help citing it I'd be happy to oblige. Happy Editing! :> Doc talk 10:17, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Disambiguation link notification for December 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited As Tears Go By (song), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Philip Norman. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
