Red links
[edit]Hi Mihir. What should those (currently red) links link to? Mushroom (Talk) 00:27, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Reply
[edit]Well, all of the SPD zords should lead to the Zords in Power Rangers: SPD page, but i cant get them to keep their own hyperlink naes and lead to the same page. Do you know what i mean? By the way, check out my page In Progress on the tekno-crystals on tekkaman blade. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tekno-Crystal
- I have made those links blue, they now point to the corresponding sections in the Zords in Power Rangers: SPD page. Let me know if I have made some mistakes. Mushroom (Talk) 00:36, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit]Yes, thats perfect, thank you. How did you do that?
Added image to my Tekno-Crystal page.
- You can link to a page with a different name this way:
- To link to a specific section of an article, you can use:
- [[Apple#Botanical origins]] becomes Apple#Botanical origins: it goes to the "Botanical origins" section in Apple.
- Combining the two things:
- [[Apple#Botanical origins|Botanical oranges]] becomes Botanical origins: it shows "Botanical origins" but it goes to the "Botanical origins" section in Apple.
- See Help:Editing and specifically its "Links" section for more information about this topic. Mushroom (Talk) 00:48, 27 July 2006 (UTC)

Help
[edit]Hi! What's the problem? Mushroom (Talk) 19:39, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
Well, on the Tekkaman Blade page, there is a character called Evil. The link will lead you to a page on Evil, btw. On my page, Tekno-Crystal i want to link the red linked Evil to the character in Tekkaman blade, but i have tried the formulas that you provided me with and i cant seem to use them properly. Also, if you get a minute, could you Rate my page? its my first major thing here, and i need some feedback.
Many thanks

Mihir
- Ok, I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, I have removed some messages about image tagging from here, since those images are already tagged as {{tv-screenshot}}. No further tagging is needed, but you should provide a source for them: if you found them on a website, a link to the site; if you took them yourself, you just need to say "I made them myself" :) Mushroom (Talk) 19:45, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot man, you have really helped me here.
- The problem was that those names were not sub-sections of the article, they were just bolded text, so you couldn't link to them. I have now made them subsections, and fixed the link in Tekno-Crystal. Regarding this article, it seems good, except for the two non-standard headings at the beginning ("The Tekno-Crystals" and "What Are they?"), that I have now removed. Generally, articles should be started with normal text and the first instance of the article's title in the text should be bolded. There is also that red link to Image:Axe-crystal.jpg, it should be fixed. Apart from these minor issues, the content of the article is good. Mushroom (Talk) 20:18, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
thanks a lot
Resizing images
[edit]To resize images, you can use something like this:
The "80px" is the width in pixels, so you can use it to make images smaller.
A good article you can read is Wikipedia:Extended image syntax. It explains the various options and has many examples. Mushroom (Talk) 22:04, 27 July 2006 (UTC)
thanks a lot, man! it really helped me add a lot on the Tekkaman Blade page. Check it out!
License tagging for Image:Pegasteknobot.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Pegasteknobot.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
