[edit]Solar power in Australia
[edit]Hi FNQ, I spent considerable time updating solar power systems on 29 January 2012 and less than a day later it seems that they were removed by you. It is the first time I have contributed to a Wiki article and I can tell you that it is very discouraging. I would be grateful if you would please phone me [details removed] to discuss. Yours sincerely, Dave TheGreenSpaces (talk) 11:14, 23 February 2012 (UTC)
- Please don't take the removal of you edit in Solar power in Australia personally, I wrote a note in Talk:Solar power in Australia#Projects Table about my suggested change, and left it in place for a week with no objections before I made the change. In my opinion solar power stations of less than 30KW are not particularly notable in the grand scheme, if you feel differently feel free to bring it up in the talk page or otherwise create a wiki page for The Green Spaces if you feel its notability is significant enough.FNQ (talk) 12:39, 23 February 2012 (UTC)

Let's reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement!
[edit]Hi FNQ, please allow me to get in touch with you because you have stated sympathy with environmental causes on your user page. I would like to invite you to check out the Environmental impact project page on Meta, where I am trying to create some momentum to reduce the environmental impact of the Wikimedia movement. My first goal is to have all the Wikimedia servers run on renewable energy. Maybe you could show your support for this project as well by adding your signature? Thank you, --Gnom (talk) 19:40, 15 January 2017 (UTC)

[edit]I saw your edit summary for your last edit to this page, and I have revision deleted the recent versions of the page. If you don't want that done, let me know and I will restore it. JBW (talk) 14:55, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you, much appreciated FNQ (talk) 19:45, 9 October 2023 (UTC)
By the way, I notice that you are one of the small proportion of editors who have Three Letter Acronyms as usernames. Recently another editor with that distinction suggest forming a club to celebrate. If you wish to join, add [[Category: Wikipedian TLA club|{{subst:PAGENAME}}]] to your user page. That will put a userbox there, and also add you to Category:Wikipedian TLA club.
If you aren't interested then please just ignore this message. JBW (talk) 17:14, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
I see that JMF has also added a place on his user page for members to add their usernames to a list if they like. JBW (talk) 17:19, 12 October 2023 (UTC)
