Saman Hosseinpuor (born 1993, Kurdistan, Iran) is a Kurdish-Iranian filmmaker known for his work exploring Kurdish culture and identity^[1]. He has directed and produced several short films that have been recognized at international film festivals such as the Zlín Film Festival^[2], Busan International Film Festival^[3], and Red Sea Film Festival^[4].

Hosseinpuor began his filmmaking career focusing on the Kurdish experience in Iran. He is an alumni of Berlinale Talents^[5] and holds degrees in Cinema from Busan Asian Film School's AFiS Program^[6].
