Hello there. I run Obakemono.com and hope to help out some with the Japanese Mythology WikiProject.
Things I plan to rewrite with more/better/any-at-all references:
Some articles I've created or completely rewritten include:
My other pet activity is the cleaning up of fancruft. So far I have:
- Waged a war on the Naruto-fan fakelore called the "Legend of the Tailed-Beasts", which has been infecting the Japanese mythology articles along with the rest of the internet. This included researching the actual original descriptions of the Isonade and the "Houkou" and completely rewriting their articles.
- Moved Taur to Centaur-like creature, rewrote it to make sure the furry fan-slang stays in its place and rearranged it into classic mythology and culture and modern fan culture rather than by animal-type.
- Changed Kurama into a disambiguation page - a word that refers to two languages, a people, and a sacred mountain should not point directly at a writeup of an anime character.
Here is a list of helpful links for my own personal reference. But you can click on them too if you want.
