ASCII trout aside...
I do observational cosmology and astrophysical instrumentation at the University of British Columbia. My doctoral thesis involved the BLAST telescope. Some other things I have worked on/with/in-the-vicinity-of:
The original Ketil Trouts (Ketils Trout?) were heros of Icelandic saga.
