Toni Boucher and Aisha Abdel Gawad (Bias)

[edit]

Ms. Boucher caused great controversy in Wilton by threatening to withhold Wilton Library funding if they did not dismiss Wilton's Artist in Residence Aisha Abdel Gawad who is a Muslim writer. Aisha was accused of being an antisemite by a mob because she did not agree with anti Gaza rhetoric of a panel moderator Elisa Albert and simply refused with another writer to sit on the panel with her . The next day the panel apologized and there are many petitions asking for reinstatement. Ms. Boucher threatened and bullied the Library based only upon reading the local media without performing diligence and taking consideration of only one side.(Bias) 69.122.96.147 (talk) 22:54, 30 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
