Proposing new Dieter Bohn article

[edit]

@User:Liz, et al., I would propose that an article appear on Dieter Bohn, until recently, executive editor of The Verge. He is cited and quoted many hundreds of times at the English Wikipedia, and when linked therein, the reader is directed here, to this general article about the publication. This journalist has been a significant voice in technology, generally, as evidenced by his referencing here, and that his departure from The Verge, for Google, made trade news:

An article already exists for him at the German Wikipedia, here. To facilitate creation of an article here, I've translated, rewritten, and begun fact- and citation-checking that German page. That and the links above should be sufficient for any interested, registered editor to create the stub page. Further sources and information can be found at the Wikipedia articles on his Verge co-founders, Nilay Patel and Joshua Topolsky. (I cannot put more time into this, as a non-logging editor, without confidence that it will see light of day.) Here is the draft article, based on the German, with corrections to sources and to text, based on those sources. Existing flaws to the current stub also are made plain. If you remove the collapse and nowiki markup at head and tail of this box, in a faux edit, you can check the final appearance of the stub (if created as presented). Cheers.

Controversial coverage of Deadlock, where The Verge disobeyed an informal NDA

[edit]

Hi,

This seems like it may be worth putting on the article.
