Announcer identity
[edit]I just discovered this show recently, and haven't been able to find specifics of the humorous voiceovers for the show. Both Chris Reed and Jim Goldenberg are credited as "announcer", but as far as I can tell it is just one distinctive voice doing the main work. Also, there is no credit for the writer of the voiceovers - from the consistent MST3K quality, I assume they have a professional comedy writer doing it. Any clarification on this will be welcomed. - 152.76.1.244 (talk) 01:47, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
- I think it's John Viener, who sounds like he does voice work on Family Guy. Quis separabit? 22:37, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
Removal of staff names
[edit]An IP editor removed the names of some staffers and added new names. Does anyone know if the current list of staffers is correct and accurate as is?? Quis separabit? 01:40, 4 October 2012 (UTC)
Lawyers
[edit]What are the names of the lawyers for TMZ on TV who sometimes appear on camera and answer questions? There are at least two I have seen - a male and a female. Quis separabit? 21:04, 27 September 2012 (UTC)
Porno Parody? Really?
[edit]Sorry, I really don't see how it's a parody other then the minor similarity in name (although missing a letter). Does it really have a reason to be there? If it's purposeful, maybe it has the notability to be there, in which case it needs to be specified, but in anycase I don't think it really deserves mention...Altairantares (talk) 03:57, 25 September 2009 (UTC)
- I'm ashamed to admit it, but I did a very quick google search of TMSleaze. Yes, it is a parody of TMZ on TV. The non-sex scenes that set up the actual sex scenes are based on the format of the show and even feature a Havey Levin act alike. If you aren't opposed to a litle original research, a trailer and several non-sex clips are available on line. As well TMZ.com archives a couple days of episodes you could watch to compair format and editing styles. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.135.73.58 (talk) 02:07, 29 January 2012 (UTC)
Number of episodes = "3050 (as of November 4, 2009)"?
[edit]This has got to be an error. The show premiered September of 2007. Even if they aired 1 new episode per day for three years straight (and they haven't), it still wouldn't close to 3050 episodes at all. 4.168.0.132 (talk) 06:16, 3 May 2010 (UTC)
Teresa Strasser
[edit]I don't think Teresa Strasser works for the show any more, can anyone find a news source for verification on this? MikeDawg (talk) 19:31, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
- She's long gone from TMZ, per TMZ website. Quis separabit? 22:37, 14 March 2014 (UTC)
