I'm not sure what the best format for organizing the article is. Chronologically seems like it may be the best way, as this man has raced almost every single four-wheeled vehicle under the sun. And then went on to design more of them. Tmaull18:27, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The reason that I went topical is because of how well topical worked in the Mario Andretti article. Both raced in almost every type of four wheeled vehicle under the sun. Many years Millen raced at Pikes Peak (and sometimes other hill climbs) plus full-time in another series. I was skeptical with the Andretti article at first too, but it worked out well. We should stay in chronological within each genre. Please give your opinion. Royalbroil19:06, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The trouble with applying the Andretti template to this article is that Rod actually designed and built his most successful cars, and his current career is much more focused on design than it is on driving. Integrating the design work that went on to build his Pikes Peak and Baja cars is somewhat hard to do in the current format, although its going to be a challenge no matter what. A MillenWorks article might solve some of the problem, but perhaps a MillenWorks section of this article is the best solution right now. Tmaull19:26, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Before reading your last comment I was thinking that MillenWorks maybe should get its own article. You should lead the article development in that area. We can do chronological order if you think it would work better. Royalbroil03:39, 14 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
