This diff shows that MRRaja001 changed the redirect target of Nadella from Nadella (surname) to Satya Nadella and prior to this, they moved this towards Nadella (surname). Reverting this move/redirect thing would be best. I guess. ─ The Aafī (^talk) 13:03, 16 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

• Now that we're into long-discussion territory, I support moving to Nadella with no disambiguation. There is no evidence that Satya Nadella is the primary meaning of Nadella, so no reason that he should get the undisambiguated term as a redirect. Furthermore, the fact that "Nadella" is sometimes used as a surname does not mean that it is always used as a surname; two of the three items on this page are not surname usages. Satya Nadella is not referred to mononymously in the way that Einstein and Tchaikovsky are (even headlinese uses his full name [1][2]), so I agree with nom & TheAafi that he's not the WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT for the bare surname. • Move to Nadella (and remove the existing redirect to Satya Nadella). The main topic here is the name. As an analogy, Bill Gates is often referred to as Gates.
