Numerous sources claim that Marvin's mother's maiden name was Rainwater, and that he took it as a stage name. According to Marvin himself, his mother's name was Stella Miller. His father was Cicero Percy Rainwater -- making Rainwater Marvin's birth name. Since this constitutes original research, I'm not sure what to do with it in the context of the article, but I think that for accuracy's sake the claim that "he took his mother's maiden name" should be corrected. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Symphony Girl (talk • contribs) 17:20, 25 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]
