Race
[edit]The first sentence doesn't seem to be pertinent: "Lottie H. Shackelford is an African-American politician." She is not a politician for African Americans, she is a politician who happens to be African American. It is already noted later some of the "firsts" she accomplished, so it doesn't seem necessary to me to introduce her in this way. Jesse Jackson's bio has him as an activist, not an African American activist, and certainly most politicans do not start off with "is a Caucasian politician". My $0.02. External links modified
[edit]Hello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Lottie Shackelford. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}
to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
- Added archive https://web.archive.org/20070203133405/http://www.democrats.org:80/a/party/shackelford.html to http://www.democrats.org/a/party/shackelford.html
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true to let others know.
