@GustavoCza:, I think you're misreading In 2011, shortly after graduating from Berklee, Platz joined previous collaborators Ben McKee and Wayne Sermon and vocalist Dan Reynolds as the drummer for Imagine Dragons.[1] In the context of that sentence, I think it's saying these were musicians he had previously collaborated with before joining the band. I don't see it as an official statement that he's left the band. Schazjmd(talk)20:50, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
An earlier (September 2023) version of the same page had slightly different wording and punctuation: In 2011, shortly after graduating from Berklee, Platz reunited with previous collaborators Ben McKee and Wayne Sermon, and vocalist Dan Reynolds as the drummer for Imagine Dragons.[2] With that punctuation, it was clearly saying McKee and Sermon were previous collaborators with Platzman, and that he joined those "previous collaborators" and Reynolds in Imagine Dragons. Interpreting "In 2011, shortly after graduating from Berklee, Platz joined previous collaborators [...]" to "mean Platzman has left the band in 2023" would be WP:OR. We should wait to reflect the clarity provided by WP:RS.
I appreciate that everyone would like Wikipedia to instantly reflect reality and they want to be the person to make that happen, but if Platzman has left the band, let's rely on the band to announce that and reliable sources to report on that fact. Davidwbaker (talk) 23:32, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
