The obituaries for Mr. Russell generally mention that he was the editor of the "Ely Record" from 1929 to 1947 and the wording is consistent enough that I assume it's from his professional bio sheet. I just created the Lincoln County Record article which was known as the "Ely Record" from 1870 to 1872, but those dates don't overlap. I assumed there might be a second Ely Record but I couldn't find it in the places I normally look. So either it was obscure or an outdated name is being used so, for now, I'm removing the Ely Record redirect since it may or may not point to the right paper. - RevelationDirect (talk) 00:20, 12 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
