The article doesn't mention that in hide and seek mode, you can vent a limited amount of times, depending on the settings. The article also does not mention that there is a host to each game, that can change the settings and choose when to start the game while waiting in the lobby. In "Chicken nugget auction" the article states "Several TikTokers and QAnon-adjacent conspiracy theorists promoted misinformation and rumors claiming that the high price of the listing was a front for child sex trafficking", where the italics imply the conspiracy theorists are part of QAnon, where as in the source it is made clear she "was a TikToker known for posting QAnon and QAnon-adjacent conspiracy theories", meaning conspiracy theories about QAnon, not a member of QAnon who was a conspiracy theorist. I added the italics to emphasize the part that I was specifically talking about, but my point was that the word adjacent implies something being related to or suggestive of something else, and while not technically incorrect, this language is ambiguous and would generally be understood to mean that the conspiracy theorists are related to QAnon in the sense that they agree with them but are not part of the group, when in fact they promote conspiracy theories about QAnon. If, for example, you said someone had a blog which promotes football-adjacent messages, it would be generally understood that they wrote about their favorite players or analyzed play, not that they wrote about the dangers of the sport and how it should be outlawed, which, while still not technically incorrect, the implied support of "adjacent" could easily be clarified disambiguate the stance of the person.
