I have replaced the text from the previous stub with a translation of the article in Norwegian about Áed (my own contribution). The following sentences from the stub have not been incorporated:

Also known as Aodh Fionnliath, Aodh Finnliath, Aedh VI, Aidus Finliath, Aed Findliath mac Néill Caille O'Néill, Aedh Finn-liath, Aedh Findliath and Aedh Finnliath.
Any mediaval persons name will be spellt differently in various sources. This list of names is not very relevant.
Aed Finliath was determined to drive back the invaders. In 866 he cleared the coast of Norsemen raiders. In 868, he drove out the invading Danes and Norwegians after defeating them at the Battle of Killineery.
This is speculation (determination), and for the latter to sentences simply not very likely to be true. I have found no annalistic accounts that in any way supports either that there was a Danish/Norwegian invasion in 868, or that the Norse presence in Ireland was ended after Aeds victory over the southern Uí Néill and their allies that year.
