Runnymede is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2021 census, Runnymede had a population of 192 people.[1]

History

Runnymede State School opened on 21 July 1948 and closed on 1964.[3] It was at 100 Scott Lane (26°31′55″S 152°04′22″E / 26.53205°S 152.07291°E / -26.53205; 152.07291 (Runymede State School (former))).[4][5]

Demographics

In the 2016 census, Runnymede had a population of 166 people.[6]

In the 2021 census, Runnymede had a population of 192 people.[1]

Education

There are no schools in Runnymede. The nearest government primary and secondary schools are Nanango State School and Nanango State High School, both in Nanango to the south-west.[7]
