Nancy Lyons is an American entrepreneur, author, and keynote speaker. She is the CEO and co-founder of Clockwork, an experience design and technology consultancy, and the founder of Tempo, an agile studio focused on creating websites and digital services for small to medium-sized businesses.

Lyons co-founded Clockwork, an experience design and technology consultancy that focuses on solving complex problems for enterprise clients. The company emphasizes a people-first approach and has been recognized for its innovative work culture that is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.[1]

Tempo

In 2020, Lyons launched Tempo, a studio backed by Clockwork that creates turn-key websites and digital services for small to medium-sized businesses.[2]

Speaking and Writing

Lyons has been active on the speaking circuit since 2010, delivering over 150 appearances. Her keynote speeches focus on workplace innovation and the human aspects of business.

She has authored two books:

  • Work Like a Boss: A kick-in-the-pants Guide to Finding (and Using) your Power at Work (2020)[3]

  • Board Member of Saint Paul & Minnesota Foundation (2020-present)[13]
  • Board of Trustees Member for Minnesota Public Radio (2014–2022)[14]

Lyons also emceed the Women's March in Saint Paul in 2017.[15]
