- Comment: Like Ca, I believe this does not justify a standalone article. Not all of these sources are reliable or substantial (e.g. Discogs, the student newspaper) but some content could be added to the film article. — Bilorv (talk) 20:12, 1 April 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: I don't there is enough coverage of the soundtrack to warrant an article. Try adding to info at the main article instead Ca talk to me! 00:10, 23 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Sources are mostly about the movie not the soundtrack which has only trival mentions of the soundtrack. Furthermore, Discogs should not be used as it is a user generated source. Lightoil (talk) 06:20, 4 November 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Thanks for your submission! This draft is in good shape, and will likely be accepted once it is made explicit which of the criteria at WP:NALBUM the topic meets. Please remember that the notability of the soundtrack needs to be established independently from the film. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 21:58, 1 September 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Have trimmed and improved text, also references are o.k., however the redirect stated below is a little tricky, thank you Ozzie10aaaa (talk) 17:58, 28 June 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: The quotes here are way too long. Please shorten them. Carpimaps talk to me! 05:31, 24 May 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: This draft does not appear to indicate which of the musical notability criteria is satisfied. If at least one of the criteria is satisfied, please revise this draft appropriately, with a reliable source, if necessary stating on the draft talk page or in AFC comments which criterion is met, and resubmit. If the subject satisfies general notability, please also indicate on the draft talk page or in AFC comments when resubmitting. You may ask for advice about the musical notability criteria at the Teahouse. - Comment: Facebook is not a reliable source I'm afraid. Theroadislong (talk) 09:38, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore is the film score to the 2022 film of the same name, written and composed by James Newton Howard. It was released on 8 April 2022 by WaterTower Music.[1]
Background
James Newton Howard revealed in August 2021 that he was working on the soundtrack of the third movie.[2] Howard spent working 8 months and 38 hours sessions for the soundtrack, alongside London Voices Choir. It was recorded in Abbey Road Studios, such as the soundtracks of the first and second films.[3] It has received good reviews, calling it "masterclass" and "fantastical". Some reviews called Howard "the most interesting musician for this class of movies".[4]
Reception
Filmtracks.com wrote "The Secrets of Dumbledore is a very finely crafted score that is faithfully loyal to the franchise, including the Williams scores. Those who appreciated The Crimes of Grindelwald will especially find merit in its darker tones, though listeners expecting the awesome fantasy of a positive character from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them may be disappointed."[5] In a review for The Lantern, Brett Price claimed that Howard "delivered a score that elevated not only the high-action fight scenes, but the film as a whole".[6] Chris Bumbray of JoBlo.com praised his contribution to the film, though "the movie feels decidedly non-epic, lacking any significant action sequences" and called it as "a fine score".[7] Drew Taylor of The Playlist also felt that Howard's score is "zippier than it has been in the previous two entries."[8]
