Fictional character biography

[edit]

Bird-Brain is one of the "Ani-Mates", a group of humanoid animals who the Ani-Mator created and experimented on. However, he escapes and befriends the New Mutants.[2][3] They attempt to acclimate him into human society, which fails due to his insatiable hunger.[4] Additionally, he possesses a simplistic language that only Cypher can understand.[4][5][6]

Bird-Brain develops close relationships with Cypher and Wolfsbane, viewing the latter as a kindred spirit.[7] He and the New Mutants later return to the Ani-Mator's island to free the Ani-Mates, during which he decides to live there.[5][6][7][8][9]
