Disputed non-free use rationale for File:HamiltonGardensLogo.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:HamiltonGardensLogo.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 15:25, 28 January 2025 (UTC)

Riverfront Plaza
editHey, Mgreason. Thanks for your contributions. I'm rolling back your edits to Riverfront Plaza, but I wanted to let you know why. Firstly, moving pages, be it to create a disambiguation page or otherwise, should never be accomplished by simply copying/pasting the page's existing content elsewhere. For more information, see Wikipedia:Moving a page. Secondly, at this time, I think it appropriate for Richmond's Riverfront Plaza to retain the "Riverfront Plaza" namespace, based on WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The same-named plazas in Jacksonville and Hartford might very well meet Wikipedia's notability guidelines, but I don't know enough about them to make that determination. If they are notable, I'd encourage the creation of articles on them and welcome a primary topic discussion. Until that time, though, I don't think disambiguation is necessary. - Hello, Rockhead126,
- I agree with you and there is another way to do this. But you've got to admit that Riverfront Plaza isn't much of an article. Mgrē@sŏn (Talk) 18:10, 14 February 2025 (UTC)
Request for Dan Gilbert
editHi Mgreason, I am working to add information to the Dan Gilbert article. I see that you're a member of WP:Michigan. As Dan has invested much money in the city of Detroit, I hope you'll have an interest in the edit request I posted on the Talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Dan_Gilbert#Additions_to_the_page. Would you consider adding information to the Early life and education and the Philanthropy sections?
Thanks for your help, Annie13478 (talk) 14:07, 19 February 2025 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:UniversityCenterBirdseye.jpg
editA tag has been placed on File:UniversityCenterBirdseye.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a copyright violation of https://www.facebook.com/FSUsustainable/photos/a.314457568600251/2647528061959845/?_rdr and has no credible claim of fair use or permission. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. — Ирука13 19:49, 23 February 2025 (UTC)
