Hi my name is Macey King and I am currently a senior at Illinois State University,studying Political Science with a minor in History. I am excited to graduate in May 2012, yet terrified to go out into the real world. I hope to go on to study law at Loyola University in downtown Chicago and focus on contract or family law. While at Illinois State, I participated in organizations such as L.I.F.E (leading incoming freshmen effectively) which is a mentoring program for incoming freshmen, Law Club, and I am currently a pledge of Sigma Alpha Pi. Aside from the things I do on campus I enjoy volunteering at Evergreen Place, which is a nursing home for senior citizens and also the Boys and Girls Club in Bloomington. When I am not in the oh so lovely town of Normal, I reside in Matteson, IL, which is a relatively small suburb located on the out skirts of the south side of Chicago. Although it is not exactly the most upbeat town, It is the place that holds my family so it's home. I am the oldest of 3 children, I have a little brother who is also a senior, but in high school and a little sister who just made it to sixth grade. Before College, I attended Rich South High School located in Richton Park, IL. In high school I was an active member of BPA, G.I.F.T.S (Girls Identifying Future Targets Successfully), which is another mentoring program, cheerleading and soccer.
