The Dasabhumika vibhāsā śāstra (Shízhù pípōshā lùn, 十住毘婆沙論, T.1521) also known as the Ten Stages Treatise (十住論) is a Buddhist commentary on the Daśabhūmika-sūtra attributed to Nāgārjuna. The treatise only survives in a seventeen fascicle Chinese translation completed by Kumārajīva. The original Sanskrit text has not been preserved, nor is there any other surviving translations into other languages.

Consists primarily of an explanation of the bodhisattva stages contained in the Huayan jing; also contains one of the early expositions regarding Amitâbha

According to the tradition of the Huayan school, when Nāgārjuna retrieved the Avataṃsaka Sūtra (Huayanjing, 華嚴經) in its full 100,000-verse version from the nāga palace, he composed a commentary on it titled the Mahā-ācintya-śāstra (《大不思議論》), which was also 100,000 verses long. The Śata-sthāna Vibhāṣā Śāstra (《十住毗婆沙論》) is said to be one section of that work.

The translation consists of sixteen scrolls, but it only includes explanations of the first two stages (pramuditā-bhūmi 歡喜地 and vimalā-bhūmi 離垢地) from the Ten Abodes Sūtra, while the rest was not translated.

The Śata-sthāna Vibhāṣā Śāstra condenses key passages from the Ten Stages Chapter (Ten Abodes Sūtra) into verses (gāthā) and then provides prose explanations (long exposition). According to A Study of the Śata-sthāna Vibhāṣā Śāstra by Takehiko Watanabe (武邑尚邦), the text contains approximately sixty verses spread across the following eleven sections: Entering the First Stage (入初地品第二) Characteristics of the Stages (地相品第三) Purifying the Stages (淨地品第四) Explanation of Vows (釋願品第五) Analysis of Giving (分別布施品第十二) Recollection of the Buddha (念佛品第二十) Analogies (譬喩品第二十六) Brief Explanation of Practice (略行品第二十七) Analysis of the Karmic Path of the Second Stage (分別二地業道品第二十八) Analysis of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas (分別聲聞辟支佛品第二十九) Observance of Precepts (護戒品第三十一) The remaining content does not directly explain the Ten Stages Chapter but instead cites other scriptures such as the Tathāgata’s Seal of Wisdom Sūtra (如來智印經), the Mahāprajñāpāramitā Sūtra (摩訶般若波羅蜜經), and the Ratnakūṭa Sūtra (寶積經) to discuss essential topics in bodhisattva practice.
