Meaning
editThis template identifies a Wikipedia list that has content whose truth, factual nature, or relevance to the topic is in dispute.
Usage
editTo apply this template to an article, first add a new section "Disputed Inclusion" to the talk page, describing the problems with the disputed statements.
Add {{Disputed-list}} to the top of the disputed article. To include a link to the section of the talk page discussing the dispute, use {{Disputed-list|talk page section name}}
. If the talk page section name is "Disputed Inclusion" (as standard), then the tag should be {{Disputed-list}}
, and if the section name is f.ex. "Disputed Inclusion", the tag should be {{Disputed-list|Disputed Inclusion}}
.
If there is no talk page, the tag won't refer to it, and it's recommended to consider (when there is no reason to tag it) whether the tag should be there.
This template will place the article into Category:Accuracy disputes.
