Contradiction

edit

The article says she lived in Croydon all her life, but that she went to university in Durham. Clearly these can't both be right; you can't commute from Croydon to Durham. Stifle (talk) 16:28, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Common usage allows one to say "I have lived in this place all my life" while accepting that 9 terms were spent up at Durham. Similarly a child sent to Boarding School can quite properly claim their home as the place where they grew up. Not a contradiction. For what it is worth, I do have concerns about the source upon which the claim is made as it appears to be self-penned, but I can see no evidence that it is likely to be wrong.
