2024–25 Liverpool F.C. season

The 2024–25 season is Liverpool Football Club's 133rd season in their history of and their 63rd consecutive season in the top flight of English football. In addition to the domestic league, the club will also participate in the FA Cup, the EFL Cup and the UEFA Champions League.

This is Liverpool's first season under new head coach Arne Slot, who was announced as Jürgen Klopp's replacement on 20 May 2024. This season is also the first since 2015–16 without Joël Matip, who left the club after his contract expired, and the first since 2019–20 without Thiago, who retired from professional football after his contract expired.[1]

On 23 February, Liverpool announced they would return to the United States during pre-season, for matches against Arsenal and Manchester United.[31] On 21 June, Liverpool announced they will finish their pre-season programme with a match against La Liga side Sevilla at Anfield on 11 August.[32] A behind-closed-doors friendly against Las Palmas was also later confirmed.[33]
