Yanalir is a Khajiit found in a house right next to Speckled Shell Plantation, of which he is the owner. He is the father of Azbi-ra and Zaban-ma.
He is slowly dying to due to his lungs being filled with dense smoke that was caused by the fire on the plantation.

Azbi-ra tells the Vestige that he was hurt during the fire, and asks them to scavenge for alchemical tools which she can sell for medicine. Yanalir dies of the overdose when the Vestige returns from the beach.
