There is a third option: just kill the captain on your own. —This unsigned comment is by 12.203.223.89 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
I have a slight problem. Xbox version. I left my game running during this mission just after Garrus told me to meet him at the Inn. When the message came up that it's been 2 hours, I just hit OK and left my game running. It seems that he never shows up at the Inn. Anywhere else to find him? —This unsigned comment is by 24.139.6.84 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
- It's easier to load your last saved game. Really, people should get into the habit of saving their game before starting a mission/ quest. --Michaeldsuarez (Talk) (Deeds) 14:47, 24 October 2008 (UTC)
- Sadly I thought maybe if I left and came back later he'd be there, so I did some other quests in the meantime, so I don't have anything recent. Does he not have a set path like other NPCs? —This unsigned comment is by 24.139.6.84 (talk • contribs) . Please sign your posts with ~~~~!
Do this quest after Defense of Bruma[]
This quest shouldn't be done until after getting through the Defense of Bruma part of the Main quest. Ulrich will be sent to assist at Bruma as well as one generic guard for the optional Allies for Bruma quest if Corruption and Conscience is not completed first. If C&C has been completed, only the generic guard is sent.
If you do the Main Quest up to Defense of Bruma before starting this quest, Ulrich is flagged as an essential NPC and cannot be killed, only knocked unconscious. It'll make the Defense of Bruma a lot easier and won't screw up Corruption and Conscience.
If he is sent to Bruma after starting this quest, he is flagged as non-essential and able to be killed and if he dies at Bruma, you are blamed regardless of whether you actually killed him or not. This may net you one infamy point and no reward for completing Corruption and Conscience. Torinir (talk) 07:39, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
