Queen Numara is a Khajiit mummy located in the courtyard of Rimmen Palace, Rimmen, Northern Elsweyr, during the quest "Two Queens" in The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr.
Background[]
Queen Numara jointly ruled Rimmen and its near region in Northern Elsweyr with her husband, King Hemakar, prior to the Frostfall Coup in 2E 576. Following the beginning of Varen's Rebellion the same year, Emperor Leovic sent Euraxia Tharn to Rimmen as part of a diplomatic mission. King Hemakar, accepting Tharn and her army of Nibenese mercenaries, was immediately assassinated by Tharn along with Numara and all but one of their children. With both the king and queen dead, Tharn proclaimed herself queen of Rimmen.[1]
Before marrying Hemakar, Numara was a Moon-Singer, a keeper and teller of ancient Khajiiti lore and stories.[2] She possessed a pendant connected to the moon Jode that had belonged to Anequina Sharp-Tongue before she and Hemakar passed it on to their daughter and future Queen of Rimmen Khamira.[3] The pendant served to hide the wearer from magical detection[4] and unlock the path through Shadow Dance Ruins.[5]
