Walkthrough[]
Upon completing In His Wake, Captain Viveka will ask you to investigate what happened to her cousin who disappeared during the attack. She asks you to speak to the guy's daughter, Yiri Windtorn, who claims to have seen something.
Head over to Yiri's house. You will find her upstairs, next to a dead body. Yiri will not speak to you, so you should speak with Bonohild Windtorn instead. She will tell you that the dead man on the ground was in fact an assasin who came to kill Yiri. Search the body and you will find a note suggesting that Yiri may hold the secret to one of the fragments of Wuuthrad. Yiri will not tell you anything, so you should speak with Bonohild about how to calm her down. She will suggest you get a special kind of tea from a Baandari peddler named J'darzi. Alternatively, Yiri can be intimidated into telling you what she knows.
Yiri will tell you that her father was dragged away by a dead thing in the water. Bring this information to Centurion Andrin near the fighters guild. He will tell you that he does not have the time or the manpower to investigate this, but he will allow you to do your investigation. He will suggest you start by talking to the homeless people in the southeast of town. Speak with one of them, and a zombie should appear. Kill it and search it. It should be carrying some hay on it, indicating that your next destination should be the stables.
Homeless Citizen: "Giants. Undead. Kyne's blood, what's next?"

Head for the stables and speak with Guridda Meadblood. Hhe will tell you that she killed a zombie and put the body behind the barn. Head there and you will find the body of a zombie whose body will contain a lump of pig iron, indicating that you should be heading for the smithy. Behind the smithy, at the waterside, you will find your next clues. you will find an injured woman named Sirilu Tharam and a half-rotten fish. Investigate either of these things and you will be attacked by a zombie. The zombie will be carrying salmon, indicating that you need to investigate the docks.
Head to the docks and investigate there. Make sure to also pick up the copy of Rivers of Profit in Riften, on the top floor of the warehouse. You will overhear talk about recovering a fragment of Wuuthrad. Either way, at the west end of the docks, you will encounter the worm cultist Anchorite Garmar, who is hostile. During the fight, he will summon undead from below the waters. Kill him. You will not find the fragment of Wuuthrad anywhere; they have already made off with it. Once he is dead, return to Centurion Andrin to finish the quest.
