The Nord Hero War Axe is an improved Ancient Nord War Axe found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Physical appearance[]
It is visually similar to the Ancient Nord War Axe, but is more polished in appearance. It also has higher base damage, lower weight, and is of greater value.
Smithing[]
Like all other Nord Hero Weapons, the Nord Hero War Axe can only be crafted at the Skyforge after completing the Companions questline. It requires the following components:
- 1 x Ancient Nord War Axe
- 2 x Steel Ingots
- 2 x Leather Strips
It can be upgraded with a steel ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
Trivia[]
- Its base damage is on par with the Honed Draugr War Axe, Elven War Axe and the Skyforge Steel War Axe, however it weighs less.
