The Imperial Light Shield is a light shield and part of the Imperial light armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It is the light armor variant of the standard Imperial shield.
Locations[]
- One can be found at the Shrine of Talos that is located at the top of the hill where Froki's Shack is situated.
- Three shields can be found aboard the Icerunner, a key location for the quest "Lights Out!."
- Joining the Imperial Legion in the Civil War questline and requesting light armor will grant a full set of Imperial light armor, including the Imperial light shield.
- Can be found on Imperial generals during the Battle for Whiterun in the Stormcloak questline.
- One can be found in Fort Neugrad if the Empire reclaims it after "Season Unending."
- One can be found in Fort Greenwall after the Empire claims it in the Civil War.
- One can be found at Fort Snowhawk after the necromancers are cleared and the Empire claims it.
Smithing[]
An Imperial light shield requires a Smithing level of 20 and the Steel Smithing perk to forge. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 2 × Leather Strips
- 2 × Steel Ingot
It can be upgraded with a piece of leather at a workbench and also benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
