Hoarfrost is a unique ancient Nordic pickaxe found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.

Acquisition[]

It can be pickpocketed off Ralis Sedarys (southeast of Raven Rock), looted from him after he is killed, or taken from his inventory if he is made a follower.

360 If Ralis Sedarys is pickpocketed and the Dragonborn is detected, it appears to be stuck in the ground and moves with Ralis Sedarys, but it is unable to be picked up. It will not show up in the Dragonborn's inventory nor in Ralis Sedarys' inventory.
It is possible to receive a second Hoarfrost if Ralis is used as the sacrifice during "Boethiah's Calling."
