The Guild Master's Hood is a piece of light armor and part of the Guild Master's Armor Set set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

It is similar to the Thieves Guild Hood, however the hood is colored black and the enchantment is significantly stronger. Another similar hood is Serana's Hood.

Acquisition[]

The Guild Master's Hood is given, with the rest of the set, as a reward for completing the Thieves Guild quest "Under New Management."

Enchanting[]

Wearing this piece of armor grants the following skill bonuses:

Smithing[]

The Guild Master's Hood can be upgraded at a workbench with leather and the Arcane Blacksmith perk, however it does not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means the armor cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions to fortify Smithing.
